2019 REDESIGN
Moving from Drupal to WordPress it was time for a completely new website design, working with an external Agency responsible for the build.
This involved working through the requirements and expectations of the content team and stakeholders in collaboration with the Agency, so that they could produce low fidelity wireframes for content sign-off.
Using the latest brand guidelines, supplied artwork and agency wireframes, I created homepage concepts and once a route was decided designed all the sub page layouts.
Some concepts and selection of the finished page layouts are shown below.
CONCEPTS
FINAL PREVIEWS
The site was built with page layouts including predefined components, also flexible content areas on some pages with Advanced Custom Fields allowing style content components to be added as needed on the page.
The timescale for completing the project was tight, the Agency had successfully built sites with us previously so desktop and mobile previews were provided, and we worked closely on how the layouts and components would look at different viewports.
Below is a selection of the final layouts including some of the key pages including Tickets, News Listing, News Article and What’s On Section.
2014 – 2018 DESIGN
A move to creating latitudefestival.com in-house at Festival Republic lead to a new CMS system being introduced in 2014, allowing more flexibility than the Live Nation system used in previous years.
A different design approach was required, moving to a fluid grid system allowing the content to fill any viewport. The build was enhanced with new features and refreshed over the 5 year period it was live.
Some example pages are shown below.
