Taking an existing website build and giving it a reskin in 2017, with the development handled by an external agency. Using sketch to design the pages, and zeplin to handover the designs to the dev team. It was nice to work on this great festival website again.

Download 2012 website was a fresh design, using large background photos that the user could choose their favourite from 10 options, that stayed with them as they browsed the pages. The photo filled the screen and the content scrolled over the top, adding new features in the lead up to the festival.

The first download festival website I designed was back in 2011, and was a great introduction to the festival. To compliment the rock and metal festival, I created grunge textures and distorted pipes and used the tattoo’s part of the festival branding at the time.
