ABOUT
WHO AM I?
I’m a passionate, competent designer with a focus on creating websites.
I started my career in graphic design creating printed material, and as the internet progressed, developed my skill set to focus on digital media and web design.
My career highlights include working as part of a successful team at Bourne Leisure Butlins before moving on to design some of the UK’s largest festival websites at Live Nation including Reading and Leeds, Download, Wireless and Latitude festivals. More recently I have been responsible for managing my own time, working on multiple projects as the Digital Designer at Festival Republic.
WHAT DO I DO?
Working with brand guidelines I interpret briefs to design visual concepts, layouts and UI elements for modern responsive websites. I then provide previews and handovers to show how sites will look on various devices, and when layouts and components need to change for different screen sizes. Collaborating closely with developers during the build process, I also test and oversee any fine tuning in the browser.
When creating my designs, I take into consideration how websites are constructed as well as useability guidelines and best practices, to ensure that the user needs are met and that the designs I delivered using XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch and Zeplin can be transformed into functioning user friendly websites.
